Aquatic ecosystem ecology; Aquatic conservation ecology; Foodweb ecology

I am an aquatic ecologist with broad training in ecosystem and food web ecology and conservation biology. I use an ecosystem perspective to tackle conservation and management issues in freshwater ecosystems by engaging with a variety of partners including academic, state and federal, and NGO institutions. Most of my work fits into three major themes:

1) Ecosystem ecology to inform conservation and management of aquatic ecosystems
2) Global change impacts on aquatic ecosystems
3) Conservation ecology of freshwater biodiversity
