Daniel Streicker, PhD ’11, is featured in a video about the Science and SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists, which is now accepting applicants for 2014. Streicker received the inaugural grand prize, which rewards young scientists early in their careers for outstanding life science research, at a ceremony in Stockholm in December 2013 . Streicker won for his work studying bat rabies to gain insights about the spread of emerging infectious diseases.
