Many people are planting milkweed in their gardens to help monarch butterflies, whose numbers are in decline. A new video by Odum PhD student and Wormsloe Fellow Ania Majewska explains why it’s important to choose native milkweed species and why the use of tropical milkweed, one of the most common milkweed species carried at garden stores, has scientists worried.
