Odum School awards degrees at fall commencement

Eight students received degrees from the Odum School of Ecology during the University of Georgia Fall 2014 commencement on December 19.

Bachelor of science degrees were awarded to James Hunt of Harlem, Ga.; Amy Johnson of Loganville; Rachel Jude of Calhoun; Ashley Na of Duluth; Susanne Nuttall of Marietta; Lindsay Opie of Watkinsville; Adam Palinski of Suwanee; and Kaleigh Wood of Thomasville.

Receiving his doctorate was Thomas Barnum, whose dissertation was about how the decline of amphibians affects food webs in neotropical streams. He has accepted a postdoctoral research position at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center.
