The UGA Odum School of Ecology and The Georgia Review have partnered to offer this special event on the past, present and future of the Jekyll Island region. This event is one segment of the exciting conference, “The Pulitzer Legacy in Georgia” – a four-day celebration of fine writing and writers. The Oct. 28-30 “Ecology of the Georgia Coastline” events will take place during the afternoons and will feature Rebecca Bell; David Dallmeyer, faculty member in the Department of Geology; Dorinda Dallmeyer, faculty member in the Environmental Ethics Certificate Program and James Richardson, faculty member in the Odum School of Ecology—as well as Geechee storyteller Cornelia Bailey.

Registration for the event continues through late September or until capacity is reached. For the best choice of discounted accommodations at the Jekyll Island Club, those interested should register early. A ticket for the entire week includes admission to all events, most meals, Jekyll Island History tours, and tours of the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Individual day tickets are also available.
