Research Interests
My research centers on environmental health and antimicrobial resistance, with an emphasis on wastewater surveillance. I also study the effects of environmental exposures and contaminants in microbial diversity and biofilm ecology. I am also particularly committed to supporting vulnerable communities and advancing bioremediation technologies that use biofilms to remove contaminants.
