Cecilia Sánchez, a graduate student in ecology, researches how urbanization affects wildlife movement, diet and disease. Her research focuses on flying foxes (fruit bats) in Australia, where she conducted her fieldwork. Sánchez is finishing her dissertation this fall and will graduate in December.
