Alexander Wright received a commendation from the Awards Committee of the Georgia Academy of Science for the most outstanding paper presented in the Biological Sciences Section at the 89th annual meeting of the GAS held 25-26 March 2011 at Gainesville College, Georgia. Wright is a senior in the University of Georgia Odum School of Ecology. The paper, entitled “Golden mouse (Ochrotomys nuttalli) and white-footed mouse (Peromyscus leucopus) dietary resource partitioning under experimental field conditions,” is now in press in the Georgia Journal of Science. This study was conducted under the mentorship of Gary W. Barrett, Eugene P. Odum Chair of Ecology.
