Job responsibilities include:

• System administrator for graduate student computer lab network. This includes responsibilties related to servers, workstations, network infrastructure, computer accounts and backup systems.
  

• Co-systems administrator for Odum School-wide computer network. This includes responsibilities related to facutly and staff servers, staff workstations, faculty and staff network infrastructure, computer accounts and backup systems.
  

• Responsible for Odum School-wide data and network security.
  

• Plan and implement Odum School-wide computer network enhancements, upgrades, and general design.
  

• Coordinate IT needs with Odum School Computer Committee.
  

• Draft and maintain official policies, reports and information documents relating to the maintenance, usage, and purchasing of technology equipment.
  
  
• Draft and maintain the official 3-year technology plan for the Odum School, including special need IT grants.
  
  
• Educate and train faculty, staff, and students on new technologies.
  
  
• Provide technology and training support for classroom multimedia systems.
  
  
• Responsible for overseeing audio visual needs for speakers and setting up appropriate equipment
  
  
• Co-technical advisor for all IT purchases.
  
  
• Maintain Odum School inventory of computer equipment.
  
  
• Additional duties as assigned.
