Job responsibilities include:

• Serve as assistant to the Graduate Coordinator of IOE and the graduate program.  
  

• Liaison to Graduation Coordinator, Graduate School, and graduate students.
  

• Provide the general public, faculty, staff and students with information regarding Odum School graduate programs and the Graduate School.    
  
  
• Supervise the dispersal of departmental information to prospective graduate applicants. 
  
  
• Receive and process applications for admission from prospective students and transfer students. Compile data and assist Admissions Committee with recommendation of prospective students.
  
  
• Maintain records of all current graduate students from matriculation to graduation. Process various forms including, but not limited to, information on theses and defenses, assistantships, graduation, late add, withdrawals and more.
  
  
• Assist with visitation by prospective graduate students.
  
  
• Assist with coordination of fall orientation for incoming students.   
  
  
• Counsel graduate students.
  
  
• Revise or process new courses in the University CAPA system.
  
  
• Send course evaluation forms to instructors of graduate courses for distribution to their students. Collect evaluations and compile the data. Distribute the compiled data to instructors.
  
  
• Serve on special Graduate Admission Committee for the Graduate School.
  
  
• Assist with front office responsibilities when the Administrative Assistant is unavailable (performed on a rotating basis with other front office staff).
  
  
• Additional duties as assigned.
