Major in Ecology

Ecology, the study of organisms and their environment, is an interdisciplinary science. Ecologists work at the interface of basic science fields such as biology, geology, chemistry, and mathematics, and may draw more broadly on subjects such as economics, public policy, environmental law, anthropology, and geography.

The Ecology Club

The Ecology Club at the Odum School of Ecology connects undergraduate students to each other and their community.  Frequent social gatherings, outdoor experiences, extended trips, and retreats as well as campus environmental advocacy and educational outreach have created a powerful force of change on UGA's campus.

The Ecotones

The Ecotones are the official Odum School of Ecology contemporary A Cappella group made up of Odum School graduate and undergraduate students as well as other ecologically minded students from related departments. Not only do we perform on campus and around Athens GA but we also fundraise and volunteer for the local watershed group UOWN.  Check us out!
