About the Ph.D. Program

The purpose of the Ph.D. in Ecology program provides a scholarly setting within which a course of study can be designed to fit the individual goals of students. Major emphasis is on coursework related to dissertation research, however students are expected to develop a broad background in environmental sciences.

The Ecotones are the official Odum School of Ecology contemporary A Cappella group made up of Odum School graduate and undergraduate students as well as other ecologically minded students from related departments.
